The Beginning of the HDC:

     Dog lovers in Sebring, Florida, formed the Heartland Dog Club (HDC) on March 8, 1986.  The  HDC was incorporated with Florida the same year.


An AKC-Licensed Club:

It was not until 1995 that the HDC became an AKC-Licensed All-Breed and Obedience Dog Club.  We held our first AKC Shows the same year.  AKC mandated the name change to: Heartland Dog Club, Inc. of Florida


HDC Meetings:

The HDC meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30PM at Beef O' Brady's in Sebring.


HDC Classes:

     All dog classes are conducted on THURSDAY evenings beginning at 6:00PM at Sun 'N Lake Elementary School (bus/faculty parking lot), Sebring, Florida.  ALL dog breeds and mix breeds are welcome.  Registration is on the first evening of any six-week class, beginning at 5:15PM.

The HDC AKC Show will take place on October 12, 13, 14 and 15, 2017. The location is Turner Agri-Civic Center 2250 NE Roan Street, Arcadia, Fl.
